Second book design for the book series hunger games. Triangles are to represent cones of vision, which are resembling a sense of being hunted. I chose the colour red to resemble fire.

FMP I Robot Book Cover (Front & Back)

This is one of the book design's I had created for my final major project in Bury College. The design is based round re-designing book covers of famous science fiction books in the current market.

The photo montage for this design had a number of changes to the lighting and i also added some noise to the images so that it created a slight static effect.

FMP 2001 A Space Odyssey Book Cover (Front & Back)

This is one of the book design's I had created for my final major project in Bury College. The design is based round re-designing book covers of famous science fiction books in the current market. I created photo montage of images together by using blending tools but with each design having a distinct effect.

I inverted the image to give the photo montage a more science fiction aura, which i feel is more fitting to the book series.

FMP 451 Fahrenheit Book Cover (Front & Back)

This is one of the book design's I had created for my final major project in Bury College. The design is based round re-designing book covers of famous science fiction books in the current market. I created photo montage of images together by using blending tools but with each design having a distinct effect.

I used a gradient lighting and chose yellow text to resemble the to element of fire, relating to the books story.

Blood Brothers Portrait Poster

Here is my portrait design I created for Bolton Colleges blood brothers theatrical performance.

The style of the poster is movie themed, adding drama and suspense. Along with an distinctive red lighting to relate to blood.

I decide that this car park scene was effective in capturing a sinister atmosphere.

My design was displayed around the college to promote this event.

Blood Brothers Landscape Poster

Here is my landscape design I created for Bolton Colleges blood brothers theatrical performance.

The style of the poster is movie themed, adding drama and suspense. Along with an distinctive red lighting to relate to blood.

I decide that a picture of the town hall would foreshadow the final events that take place during the play, giving a subtle clue to the audience.

My design was displayed around the college to promote this event.

I took this photograph because i wanted to capture a strong contrast of both shape and lighting, this really added a worn and defined atmosphere to the photograph. This photograph was inspired by Rodchenko using both lines and angles to my advantage.

Urban Photography 1

This photograph is inspired by Rodchenko's reflective photographs, this allowed me to take a new approach on capturing a scene, by using a reflection to show other areas to a scene. In addition i really like the lighting within this photographs as it allows for the water droplets to become much more highlighted and defined.

A DIFFERENT AGENDA

What I wanted from this photograph was a very strong contrast, not by lighting but by the content of the scene. Differences from the clothing, gender and even posture are all which make the photograph as contrast composition it could be. I used a studio setup to create dynamic lighting across both of my models to enhance detail of specific elements of there character.

UNTRUSTWORTHY GLANCE

Here is one of my favorite photographs I have taken during my AS photography course. The photograph was taken in a studio setup, using studio lights which portrayed dim ambient lighting on my models face. This gave the photograph much mystery and atmosphere.
